Privacy Policy

Effective November 1, 2026 · Covers the Haleway website and waitlist

The short version

1. Who we are

Haleway is an app in development for people taking GLP-1 medications. It's operated by ("we", "us"). This policy covers this website and its waitlist. The Haleway app will have its own privacy policy when it launches.

2. What we collect

How you found us: which version of this page you saw, the campaign link you used (e.g. "reddit"), and the website that linked hereAutomatically, with your signupSaved with your signup
Signup timeAutomaticallySaved with your signup

To block spam bots, the page checks a hidden form field and how long the page was open before you submitted. We use those checks only to reject automated submissions and don't save them with your signup.

We don't collect your name, address, phone number, payment details, photos or location on this website. We don't receive your IP address ourselves, but our hosting and storage providers may process it in their own logs (see section 5).

3. Consumer health data

Whether you take a GLP-1 medication, which one, and the difficulties you've had with it are consumer health data under laws such as the Washington My Health My Data Act and the Nevada and Connecticut health-data laws. For this data specifically:

4. How we use it

We don't make automated decisions about you, and we don't combine your data with data from other sources.

5. Where your data is stored

We use a small number of service providers that process data on our behalf:

ProviderWhat forWhat they handle
Google (Google Sheets & Apps Script)Storing waitlist signupsEverything in section 2
CloudflareHosting this website, and counting visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics (no cookies, no individual profiles)Standard web request data (e.g. IP address) in their logs; visit counts are aggregate only
Stripe (only if you reserve a founding membership)Taking the refundable paymentYour email and payment details, on Stripe's own checkout. We never see your card number.
An email service (when we send launch emails)Sending emailsYour email address only. No survey answers.

These providers may store data in the United States or other countries. We'll update this list if we add a provider.

6. How long we keep it

7. Your rights and choices

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

Email from the address you signed up with. We'll reply within 30 days, and it's free. If we refuse a request, we'll explain why. Where your local law gives you the right to appeal, reply to that email with "Appeal" and we'll review the decision within 45 days.

8. Security

Access to the waitlist is limited to us, through an account protected by two-factor authentication. The site only accepts encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach ever affects your data, we'll tell you promptly as the law requires.

9. Age

Haleway is for adults. Don't join the waitlist if you're under 18. If we learn that someone under 18 has signed up, we'll delete their data.

10. Not medical advice

Haleway is a wellness and tracking tool. Nothing on this website is medical advice, and joining the waitlist doesn't create a doctor–patient relationship. Always follow your prescriber's guidance.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use data you've already given us, we'll email you first and, for health data, ask for your consent again.
